VRi Conducts Korean Broadcasting Station Tour in Collaboration with Partner VOXEL

VRi in collaboration with its local partner VOXEL VISION TECHNOLOGY CORP., in Taiwan, conducted a tour program for broadcasting stations in Korea on September 7th and 8th, targeting current employees of both public and private broadcasting stations in Taiwan. The main objective of this tour program was to investigate advanced broadcasting systems and workflows by visiting Lotte Home Shopping, MBC, and KBS.

Sixteen participants from nine major broadcasting stations, including the public broadcasting station PTS in Taiwan and VRi’s partner VOXEL, took part in this tour program, demonstrating a keen interest in Korea’s broadcasting systems.

Customers from Taiwanese broadcasting stations visited Lotte Home Shopping, and listened to the explanations about broadcasts using LED media walls, XR cameras, and VRi’s Home Shopping and SNS coders. The customers showed their great interest in broadcast graphics production using VRi’s KarismaCG (Domestic: Tornado2).

Customers from Taiwanese broadcasting stations visited MBC, and listened to the explanations about the newly established large-scale newsroom studio and news graphic production set up this June.

Customers from Taiwanese broadcasting stations visited KBS, and listened to the explanations about broadcasting using media walls, news automation programs, and the disaster broadcasting center.

Upon concluding the tour program, the Project Manager, Mr. Zui Choo from VOXEL, stated, “Customers from Taiwanese broadcasting stations gained insights that can be applied to Taiwanese broadcasting stations by learning about Korea’s broadcasting systems and workflows through this tour.” Additionally, they mentioned, “The Taiwanese customer’s trust in VRi’s graphic solutions, KarismaCG and the new product Karisma Studio (Domestic: Tornado Studio), greatly increased as they were actively utilized in various aspects of major broadcasting stations. This has also presented a great opportunity to expand business in Taiwan.”

VRi previously conducted broadcasting station tours for major Japanese clients in 2015 and 2019.
