VRi KOBA Booth in 3D Model

Visual Research, Korea’s leading provider of broadcast graphics solutions, is set to participate in KOBA 2025, taking place from May 20 (Tuesday) to May 23 (Friday) at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul. At the event, the company will introduce its latest lineup of graphics solutions—KarismaCG3 and Karisma Studio.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, Visual Research will collaborate with Cudo Communications to install a massive LED wall at their booth, delivering dynamic live demonstrations of broadcast graphics content. A highlight of this year’s showcase is the prototype debut of the Karisma AR, currently in development. Built on the Tornado engine, this new solution supports a scene-based production and playout workflow, combining the flexibility of Tornado with a streamlined, intuitive learning curve.

Experience the Power of Real-Time 3D with KarismaCG3

KarismaCG3 is a next-generation real-time 3D graphics system, optimized for high-impact broadcast environments such as election coverage, financial news, sports broadcasting, and weather segments. With an interface specialized for 3D spatial editing, it provides an ideal creative workspace for designers and a stable, time-tested environment for engineers. This year’s showcase includes newly enhanced features—like advanced shadow rendering and rigging animations—that take visual storytelling to the next level.

Ultra-High Resolution on a Grand Scale: Karisma Studio

Karisma Studio is a high-resolution widewall graphics system that delivers vivid, display-optimized content through a combination of proven graphics software and high-performance hardware. It supports video playback at ultra-high resolutions—up to 9,600 pixels wide (HX5) or 15,360 pixels (UX4)—along with real-time scene editing and rendering. Broadcasters can creatively compose CG scenes across up to 8 HD layers, dynamically arrange visuals across video walls, and input up to 3 live external video feeds for a highly immersive viewer experience. Its intuitive broadcast interface minimizes operator error, and integrated backup support ensures reliability even during live transmission.
