KarismaCG3: Real-time 3D Graphics Solution
“KarismaCG3,” developed by VRi, represents the third installment in the Karisma series, which is a real-time 3D graphics solution designed for broadcasting purposes. This product has garnered popularity across more than 300 broadcasting sites over the course of the last two decades. The system primarily functions within newsrooms, election counting broadcasts, sports broadcasts, and weather news segments that necessitate precision and reliability.
Karisma Studio: Comprehensive Graphics Solution for Video Walls
“Karisma Studio” offers a comprehensive graphics solution designed for ultra-high-resolution video walls. Karisma Studio has the capability to modify the resolution based on the specific characteristics of the video wall. Depending on the configuration of the lineup, the resolution can reach up to 9,600 pixels (HX) or 15,360 pixels (UX) depending on the width. Beyond video playback, Karisma Studio provides the tools to create and display all graphics essential to broadcasting – such as text, video, images, and 3D elements – in real-time.
Explorer KarismaCG3 at Inter BEE DX x IP PAVILION
Inter BEE 2024 will feature an enhanced IP Pavilion, known as the “INTER BEE DX x IP PAVILION” (Makuhari Messe, Hall 3). This special pavilion explores the latest in IP-based technologies, including AI, cloud, and security solutions. Visitors can experience the KarismaCG3 solution operating on the ST-2110 standard for IP-based media transport in a setup mirroring a live broadcast environment.
KarismaCGService: Live Cloud Production for Future
Following its debut at IBC 2024, VRi is excited to showcase its partnership with Matrox Origin at Inter BEE 2024, presenting “KarismaCGService” for live cloud production workflows. Powered by Matrox Origin’s asynchronous media framework, this media service supports both cloud and on-premises workflows. Currently in development, KarismaCGService offers fundamental broadcasting features, including playout, production, and trigger functionalities, with plans to expand capabilities. This service will be available for exploration at both the IP Pavilion and Japan Material’s booth (Hall 5, Booth No. 5404).
